    These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Otterino's web development and digital services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

    2. Services

    Otterino provides:

    • Website design and development
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • Progressive Web Applications
    • Website maintenance and care plans
    • Digital consulting and training

    3. Project Process

    3.1 Consultation

    All projects begin with a free consultation to understand your needs and requirements.

    3.2 Proposal

    We provide detailed proposals including scope, timeline, and pricing.

    3.3 Agreement

    Work begins upon signed agreement and initial payment.

    4. Payment Terms

    • 50% deposit required before project commencement
    • Remaining balance due upon project completion
    • Monthly recurring services billed in advance
    • Late payments may incur 1.5% monthly interest charge
    • All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise stated

    5. Client Responsibilities

    Clients are responsible for:

    • Providing accurate content and materials
    • Timely feedback and approvals
    • Domain and hosting account access
    • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
    • Backup of existing websites before changes

    6. Intellectual Property

    6.1 Client Content

    Clients retain ownership of their content, logos, and trademarks.

    6.2 Development Code

    Upon full payment, clients receive rights to use the developed website code.

    6.3 Otterino Rights

    Otterino retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio.

    7. Warranties and Guarantees

    • 90-day warranty on bug fixes for custom development
    • 30-day satisfaction guarantee for new websites
    • No guarantee on search engine rankings or traffic
    • Websites tested on major browsers and devices

    8. Limitation of Liability

    Otterino's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for:

    • Loss of business or profits
    • Data loss or corruption
    • Third-party service failures
    • Indirect or consequential damages

    9. Termination

    Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:

    • Client pays for work completed to date
    • Ongoing service subscriptions end at current billing period
    • Client receives deliverables for paid work

    10. Force Majeure

    Neither party is liable for delays due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures.

    11. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes will be resolved in Swiss courts.
